Would you like to learn more about the fascinating world of exporting? There's nowhere else to look! This extensive course is intended primarily for those who are interested in a refresher or who are just getting started with exporting.
This course will provide you with the fundamental abilities and understanding required to handle the challenges associated with exporting. This training is special because it uses a hands-on workshop where participants create their export documents using pre-defined data.
This course covers
• A detailed explanation of the export process from inquiry to dispatch, including:
• Actors in the exporting process
· A discussion on the roles and responsibilities of each act
• How should one respond to an inquiry?
• Which Incoterms ® 2020 ought you to select?
• Which payment method works best?
• Correct quoting considering the entire exporting process
• Walk through all important Export Documentation
o Financial documentation required for exporting (e.g. Order Acknowledgment / Pro Forma Invoice / Commercial Invoice (and the difference
o Transport / Shipping documentation required for exporting (e.g. packing lists)
o Customs Documents (Customs Declaration, preference documents including certificates of origin)
o Pre-shipment Inspections / Packing
• Workshop: Create Your Export Document (see below)
• Overview of Relevance of the Customs Compliance Triangle (Classification, Origin, Valuation)
• Discussion of Customs Duty Savings Opportunities (Simplifications and Special Customs Procedures for exports)

We will carry out a hands-on workshop to assist you in determining and creating your export documentation.
Quiz & Certification
Participants are invited to complete a Quiz after the training and will have 48 hours to complete it after the training. If they pass with a rate of 80%, they will receive a Certificate of Completion. This ascertains that you have received formal training and have met the above-mentioned outcomes and results. Those achieving a pass rate of below 80% or not completing the course, will receive a Certificate of Participation
